IX.3.6 Pompeii. March 2009. Entrance. According to Della Corte, this shop was excavated 22nd October 1849 in the presence of Pope Pio IX.

Della Corte believed that this shop was rented from the Lucrezi by a person known as Phosphorus.

He thought this because of a seal/signet (S.71) found here “in the 16th or 17th shop on the left of the strada from the quadrivio di Orfeo.”
